We strongly advise that you check with your airline and destination country that our certificate is appropriate and meets their requirements. You can check these requirements by visiting the Foreign Office Travel Advice pages, by clicking on the button below, or by contacting a country's UK based embassy.
Rules change frequently, so we advise to make sure you are up to date with the requirements that apply to your journey, including for your return to the UK.
The Answers People, our laboratory partners and agents do not accept responsibility if you purchase our product and it does not meet the requirements of your airline(s) or the entry requirements for your destination or any transit points during the journey.
Different carriers and destinations have different rules about FlySafe
Please bear this in mind and plan your purchase and test with this in mind.
We can supply both PCR and Antigen FlySafe Certificates
For Antigen FlySafe Tests: The test needs to be conducted within the time frame specified by your carrier, or destination. Check their rules and book an appointment with us to suit. We offer a rapid Antigen test, with result in 5 minutes and FlySafe issued on the spot.
For PCR FlySafe tests: Our PCR FLYsafe Concierge program will be coming soon. For appointments from May 1st onwards please email directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
That will depend on the rules set by your airline and destination. Many destinations require that you take the test no more than 72 hours before your departure. For PCR tests: as you are administering the test yourself, we will assume you have taken the test on the date that Royal Mail mark it has been posted. If you chose to hand deliver the completed test to our laboratory partner site in Central London, then we will assume that the date of delivery is the date you took the test.
The test date is printed on your FlySafe Certificate.
Please make sure you are clear on the requirements of your airline, your destination country and any transit points, before purchasing our test and planning the timing of when you take the test.
For Antigen FlySafe Tests: we issue the Certificate on the spot as soon as the rapid test produces a negative result
For PCR FLYSafe remember that our laboratory partners will take 24-48 hours to analyse your test, once it is received and before we can issue your PCR FlySafe Certificate. The laboratory operates Monday to Friday, but is closed at weekends and bank holidays. So allow enough time. Typically, tests received by 1pm on a Friday will be analysed and notified of an outcome by close of business on the same working day. But this may take longer if demand is very high
Royal Mail is not currently accepting COVID-19 samples for drop off at Post Offices. So, once you have followed the instructions in the box and taken your test, package it carefully as directed and take it to a Royal Mail priority postbox. You can find your nearest one by clicking on the button below and following the instructions to “Show my Nearest Priority Postboxes”. Remember to check for the last collection times, so you can ensure that your sample is collected on the day you take the test.
We have provided you with a pre-paid Special Delivery mailing bag. This means we can see when the package has been received by Royal Mail.
Given that the vast majority of laboratories tend to be closed over the weekend, we know that securing a FlySafe Certificate for Monday flight, or one over the Christmas bank holidays may prove challenging, to comply with the timeframes set out by airlines and destination countries.
If you are effected by this, do not just buy our test, but contact us first and we will discuss our Priority Service options for you.
About 1 in 3 people show no symptoms when infected with the virus, so it is possible that you could test positive, without having felt any impact.
If that happens, we cannot issue a FlySafe Certificate and instead we will contact you, as soon as we become aware of the result. We know that will be disappointing news and may cause worry, so we will urge you to seek further medical advice as quickly as you can. Our laboratory partner is legally required to inform Public Health England of any positive PCR tests. We are similarly legally bound to inform them of any positive Antigen tests. By purchasing any of our tests, you accept this and give us permission to share your data with Public Health England, as required.
A few international destinations accept an Antigen Test, or an RT-PCR Test for FlySafe Certificates and entry to the country. Once again, please check if this is the case for your destination.
We can provide FlySafe Antigen Tests, but the test needs to be administered, so please contact is and we can make the arrangements with you.
